Stephen Donald

I have been in the building industry for more than 20 years. Recently I returned to Christchurch building new homes, as well as kitchen and bathroom renovations, home alterations, and landscaping projects.

Previously in Auckland I rebuilt villas and batches, fitted out shops for Noel Leeming, Bond and Bond, and other retailers plus commercial work to various shopping malls and other commercial premises. I also built high value homes in Takapuna, Kohimarama, and apartments at Gulf Harbour.

Prior to spending 10 years in Auckland I built homes in Huntsbury, St Albans, Cashmere, Halswell, Fendalton, and Hillmorton. Alterations and additions to homes and commercial premises were also completed.

My building roles in these projects have been practical, supervisory, and as a designer.

I have been in business for myself since 1995 and in that time built many successful companies. Over the past 10 years I have built one of New Zealand's largest event management companies and also own two franchise companies. I formed a partnership with Steve Donald after he built our new home in Lincoln.

I was caught in the building industry collapse and lost thousands of dollars to a dishonest building company and as a business owner I believed the industry needed a breath of fresh air. Running a successful business takes commitment, focus and a dedication to succeed which is what I believe I bring to this team. We have established a professional team of sub contractors some of the most professional I have seen.
